Allright folks - there is a fascinating interview Katie & Pete Taylor on Rte website with Miriam O'Callaghan. Very interesting listening but I'm afraid to post a link cause I don't know the rules about that etc. Well worth the listen though - apparently she was beating all the boys including the all ireland champ as a young teen ager!

 

paddy and jj mcdonagh are fighting on the 1st august in dublin :goodthere doesnt seem to be much metion of that show on this forume

 

She did a bit of work with the Jackal i wonder what he has to say about that!

 

ps. looks like she will rematch the Russian from March at the World Campionships

Carlos - if your commenting on this can you also let us know what that Russian was like and how far you think Katie will go in London? I'm personally worried about the pressure she is under and the media attention she is going to get come the qualifiers and Olympic time.

that's bloody great we could get less kids turning to crime and more kids turning to sports with more facilities like that club around the country. Make me feel like donating when I see vids like that.

Just heard the bids for the Hylands EU fights went a bit wonky today. The italain Pajo was meant to fight pulled out! And there was no bid made for Paulie's fight with Thomas
