It really reminded me of Daniel Pnce De Leon V Juan Ma Lopez or some other scrap recently on the undercard of 1 of the HBO events last year where both guys went down in the 1st round and then a 3rd and final ko came just 5 seconds before the end of the round.

the 18th of which month Bam? the EBU confirmed yesterday that Kiko fight is in Dublin for the 11th September- i thought Big Bang would have been on the undercard for that?? If Paulie is then would he be in pole position to fight the winner!!!

Ireland have been handed a tough draw at the 8th European Schoolboy Championships in Yambol City, Bulgaria.

Six Irish boxers will be involved in last 16 bouts this afternoon and evening.

Joseph McDonagh gets proceedings underway versus Denis Chymin of Russia.

Eight members of the 15-strong squad will be involved in last sixteen bouts, while six have received byes into the last eight.

Finn Valley ace Michael Gallagher has received a bye into the semi-finals where he will meet a Bulgarian opponent.

The full draw will be published shortly.

Bulgaria is two hours ahead of Ireland.

Had a quick glance in todays Mirror and with the Peters having Kiko fighting on a bill and him fighting a Irish boxer after this. The rumour at the end of the piece caught my eye.

" With Dunnes former promoter Peters involved in this fight. Martinez-Dunne 2 rumours have resurfaced but the Spaniard wont speculate on rumours.
I know there are rumours about Dunne coming out of retirement to fight me. But I will take it as only rumours until it happens".

So could the rumours be true and Dunne lacing the gloves up again? Or is it just all bull****. To be fair I was surprised he retired as I thought he would of given it 1 more go as he is relatively young to be retiring. Do any of the lads in the know know anything happening.

 

Its not Bull****- there has been talk, but i doubt it will happen. Some are saying its the only fight Dunne could come back for and that he isnt getting the cash from the endorsements he thought he would!!!

Kiko's team mentioned it on their own accord too! plus the original didnt read like that intially!
