Westport is well worth a visit, and Cong is only a few miles down the road as well.

I was Westport a couple of years ago also. I watched a Bernard Dunne fight in one of it's bars at the pier. I had a good night bantering with the locals.

Yeah and the parking spaces were quite tight to manoeuvre in and out of also.

    Well done Lestrade:D

The Irish News hinted that Ryan Greene and Jamie Conlon could be on the card.

Nevermind that shite. I have a graphic designer putting some stuff together for me. Including a caricature of our very own Carlos. I've seen the first run at it and he looks like one of them mad Japenese cartoon characters!

eh, he kinda does, ugly wee angular fĂșck - I had him down for a cousin of Shinny Bayaar the first time I popped me lamps on him.

A cross between Shinny Bayaar and a hammer head shark! :yep

I heard Sweeny is fighting Waldron for the Irish title in October.Maybe he's keeping the head down planning for that one and doesnt want to give Phil the chance to see him live also he has to make the light heavy limit and he has never done that as a pro so maybe he's started weightwatchers already.

The fact that his girlfriend is the lead singer of breakthrough band Maud in cahoots wont hurt with his image in the states.Lets face it thats half the job in New York.
She's a cracking looking bird too.

What's the capacity for Ulster Hall does anyone know?

Someone like Mark Moran would be a solid opponent for Brickfists.

And possibly experienced veteran Esham Pickering for Casey. :think

I think it holds about 1100.

I hope it is true that Greene and Conlan are on the card - it will be a class night and the tickets will sell like hotcakes:good

Josh Wale or Gavin Reid wouldn't be too bad either. Or even that Savage lad that beat Reid last time out
