He's there he's beatable and he's a possible opponent for our lads - though I won't hold my breath with that little hobbit in charge of him.

I hope he wins. Tommy I'd agree on Booth and sure didn't I forget about Acosta

Pity that tomorrow nights bill isnt on RTE for us exiles to at least watch it online. Would like to see JJ McDonagh in action. Think he is gonna be the biz.

On another topic- I see that Olusegun fights Ali Chebah in a WBC title eliminator. 1st Nov in Algeria.... Think Olusegun is #1 with WBC, Chebah is #3 and McCloskey is #4.
What ever happened to Olusegun v McCloskey? I thought that was the plan...?

Deno - cheers pal, always good to hear things like that from someone who knows their stuff. I had to write it for the casual fan here in the Echo in Cork, and there's a fine line between writing for a casual fan and patronising a real boxing person. Thanks to fellas like you and Mush, I know I'm doing something right!

BTW, Green Jab got some smashing photos of the weigh-in (http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/album.php?aid=197790&id=688248333). Prunty and 30-something Finbarr Eade look in magnificent condition. That Prunty looks like Bradley Cooper with a skinhead, in other words he'll never have a problem sorting out a bird for the after-show shenanigans. Lucky sumbitch.

Saez dropped Molitor but it was more of an off balance knockdown than anything else and he was not badly hurt at all. If anything Molitor looked sharp and fast and he looks to be punching hard too, I can't see Booth beating him.
