DEIRDRE GOGARTY IS STILL BLAZING TRAILS http://www.thesweetscience.com/boxing-article/5894/deirdre-gogarty-still-blazing-trails/
Fra, Coyle seems to have great power, he beat James Moore in the amateurs, and according to Irish boxing .com, Coyle will be fighting in an Irish ring in the summer.Im weary about his chin, because of his stoppage defeat. Cormac, do you know whop will promote Coyle when he fights in Ireland.
As far as I know he can box on whoevers shows he likes. He would definitely be a solid addition to the boxers we have fighting over here. Anything at the moment is pure speculation but Id expect an announcement in the coming weeks.
Is he coming home, to base himself here permanently? Ive seen him at the Stadium in the amateurs, looking forward to seeing the improvements hes made to his game.I think hes better suited to professional boxing.
Cheers Cormac, the way Coyle is going, he will soon be a headline act for any promoter in Ireland. Cormac, I only remembered, I was in contact with a fellow boxing buddy yesterday, and he said hes going to Belfasat to watch the Hyland brothers at the end of the month. Thats odd, as the brothers are supposed to be on Egans promotion July 5th. Could you shed some light on this.
Alio Wilton (Luke Wilton's dad) of Belfast Promotions and Eastside boxing club is running a show at Shorts Social Club. I'll try to get a bit more info and get something up on the site
good video...he looks good...chin down well, hands up well..although he got clocked with a hook there...looks like he digs a bit too... hows his chin i wonder?
I talked to Coyle for about an hour last summer at a benefit in Chicago. He is very serious about his trade and says he can go all the way - its good to see he is confident. He fought O'Neill Bell's younger brother in his 3rd fight and got KOed early.Henry told me he got caught cold and wanted an immediate re-match but his management steered him in another direction. Its hard to say how good he is, his level of opposition so far has been very poor.He looks very small for a light middleweight and personally i think he will struggle when he moves up in class.I hope he proves me wrong, i would like to see him do well as he is a very likeable young fella
