    Like the list Matt:good

Is Ross Hickey starting to campaign at LWW? Plus I'd bring Roy Sheahan up one or two places, although McLaughlin has had the better of him in recent years.

    Nevin
    Barnes
    O'Neill
    Egan

Don O'Leary says today that Willie Casey's a bit like John L Sullivan - he'd do 25 rounds if he had to

100 % right! He completely relies on getting close, and out working his opponent when they start to fade. Anyone that has a bit of boxing ability, are physically quite strong and well conditioned should be able to complete out box him. That's why I think dunno would have beat him quite handy

With the continuing success of Irish professional boxing, the promoter Brian Peters has secured a TV deal with RTE which will show more live fights on the Irish terrestrial channel. These broadcasts will include Andy Lee, John Duddy and the return of Bernard Dunne.Paul McCloskey is also on the verge of fighting for the British title.
Also Peters is in talks with Ray Hatton [father and manager of Ricky], to bring the Hitman over to Dublin to fight in a major promtion in the summer. This would be huge for Irish boxing, to a have a star of Hattons magnatude boxing on Irish soil.

    :happy

    :hi:

maybe if slap etc stopped disrespecting prunty with comments that show no regard that 1.this boy is very brave . 2 is learning every day, 3 spars against bigger and tougher lads to learn his trade and had no amature career , he deserves some credit, to call him out whilst slaggin him ,just seems sad, the pen being mightier comes into mind , back off boy.
