Just saw that interview with Chris O'Brien when he calls out Haughian and "that skateboarder"
Its a crying shame that it has only got about 150 views. Superb viewing!

Paddy was saying on facebook that if O'Brien wants a crack at Prunty then he will have to beat another less experianced Irish Welter on the Haye Undercard :deal

    That man is Mark Heffron

there's one bis issue here- Macklin is not Peters' man, he said recently in an interview with fwarrentv that he's not contracted to anyone at the moment but did make a 2 fight agreement with Frank Warren.

It makes commerical sense for Peters to have any of the three fight each other in Ireland but I would agree that he would probably profit most out of Macklin victories.

I hate to say it but it does look like poor form on Lee's part. He was calling out Darren Barker on RTE after his 2nd round stoppage in his last fight in Ireland so if he really wants that European belt he should step up to the plate and take on Macklin.

I'd rate Macklin ahead of Lee and Duddy with Barker somewhere in between.

He's not being offered a straight shot at Macklin though is he? The deal he was offered is a fight with Duddy with the winner fighting Macklin. Now if Macklin had a world title this may make sense but at the moment I think Lee is right to turn it down. I wonder would Lee take a fight with Macklin now with no strings attached? :think

Lee for me is a better in every department than Macklin. I never would put Macklin ahead of Lee in terms of skills or likely hood of winning a world title.

Time will prove me right on this one.....

I'd say Casey will out work him to win on points, with a chance of getting a stoppage. He's better than you'd expect for his style at landing clean shots, and his work rate and good use of distance (in and out of range) stand to him as well

hes a bit crude though with his style all the same, im going for Casey to win on points or late stoppage but i could see Hyland outboxing him for stretches of the fight early on
