    Could it be to do with the fact that there are many devoted Irish boxing fans on this forum?

    We probably get as many posts here in this thread alone as ye get in your entire forum. :tong

    Irishmen love fighting its in our genetic make-up. When it comes to producing talented fighters we do very well with a population of 5 million.
    We also **** all over austrailia in the amateur boxing.

    Barry Mcguigan - It's Bad Coming Second

    i'm sure some of you will have seen this already, but maybe some wont..
    its a documentary that was made around the time of the first couple of comeback fights of barry mcguigan after cruz.

    think i might try a few quid on hyland in this one...i'm kinda thinking this could be bull v matador one...probably be very wrong now.
    i've left it late though...hyland almost even money now...price has come way in.

    think its goin to be casey in tomorow lads goin t throw a few bob on him tomorow 8thround
    was watchin his fight against stoyan serbezov in the stadium last year on gofightlive.tv and he looks better than he did in prizefighter .i know the level of comp was shite but whern the fight is longer he seems much more calm and less wrecklass this lad can go a long way if he keeps improvin at the rate he is

    Finally at 1.50am I have decided- Casey inside the distance at 5/2.

    Don't think Casey is going to be as wild and explosive as he has been before- this is 12 championship rounds, not a 3 round sprint.

    He knows he has to pace himself and not be wreckless. I think he will be more composed than a lot of people expect and will break Paulie down and force a stoppage
