Does anybody have any feelings on who would be a good opponent for dunne and lee? I heard that dunne may forget about munroe and try the world stage. Anybody see duddys next opponent in action or any info on him?
    Great thread guys.

Hello dunne101,welcome to the thread.I also heard Dunne might bypass Europe, and go for a world title. In that case he would probabley target Steve Moliter. As far as his next fight goes, I don't think Peters[his manager] will take too many risks.I would love to see a Andy Lee/Brian Vera rematch, but that's unlikely to happen, anytime soon.

I think dunne should take a risk and fight a decent opponent to propel him up the rankings. A lee vera rematch i like the sound of , vera did have lee in trouble but the stoppage was bad as lee was still throwing punches

Thats the 1st time i heard that Lee was sick - it would explain his ****-poor performance.Either that or he's just not that good.

Man i hope he was really sick:nut

It would explain a lot about the bout and IF its true fair play to Andy for not offering it up as an excuse like so many boxers do.
Vera will not get back in the ring with Lee i'm told vera may fight Taylor next.Andy should go for the european title he is only ranked 27 in Europe which is crazy i feel he could beat most of the top european guys now.

Emanuel Steward said that Ver a would absolutely not sign to refight Lee, at least anytime soon. Smart decision thought, because Lee would have beat him the second time around. Andy got caught by some good shots and was never in that type situation before and didn't know how to react. Also he hit Vera with some really good shots and he kept coming, first time that happened as well.

I don't know if this was mentioned on the board already, but Lee is fighting on the undercard of the Mayweather - De La Hoya match. I found out about a month ago from a contact in Steward's camp. Looke for Lee to make a comeback

I heard golden boy promotions are trying to /or have already signed Andy. This will give him a way back up the rankings in America.A good deal for bith i believe.

Ever the optimist I'll take Andy to win his next 2 fights (without even knowing his opponents). That should just about leave him back were he was rating wise pre Vera, albeit without the '0' beside his name.
