What's Ricky Owen up to, the lad who had to pull out of the final because of a cut.

Casey would have a chance against Rigo. He might be the underdog but he would still have a chance. Surely anyone who gets in the ring with rigo now would know not to go chasing him. Let's see how he reacts when a fighter treats him absolutely the opposite to how he wants to be treated.

Aye he'd have a punchers chance but no more than that. How about he gets more than a dozen fights under his belt before he starts thinking of world titles? I love watching the boy box but he'd get splattered more likely than not if he fought Rigo. Sure longshots win once in a while but that doesn't mean Willie would do it.

Right with Egan in the World Series of Boxing with no head gaurds fighting 5 round fights under his belt could this be used by Kenny as a starting place to turn PRO. After the London games if he makes it and decides to go pro he could well start out at 8 round bouts and move up quicker now because of the WSB. I think its a smart move by Kenny if he wants to go pro after London and at his age. He must around the 30 mark by the time of the London games a great option for Kenny and the other Irish lads in the WSB.

    ARDY,

    Thank you,

    Irish Jerry Quarry,,,,,,,a 'good guy'.

His downfall, was a result of his father (manager) over-extending him in the ring.
His 'knock-out' over (#1 rated) Mac Foster was brilliant though.
Nobody, and mean nonbody expected that.
    Foster 24-0-0 (24 KO's) a was a 3-1 favorite.
Jerry took everything Foster had for (3) rounds.

With some smart management, Jerry should have been a champion.

I should have footage of nevins fight this weekend for sure and hopefully egans too I will throw them both up on youtube.

The WSB is run by aiba and that is why they can go to the Olympics they also get a second chance to qualify for the Olympics ontop of the regular qualifying tournment

he cant turn pro after london he has a three year contract so that ties him to the WSB until half way through 2013

I'm a massive supporter of DolPhil shows. They are everything that is right about Irish boxing, but Kevin Hammond is a shíte match-up.

    That is regression not progression.

Hammond is a light-middleweight that is coming off a loss to a guy that is 1-8, throw in the embarrassing WBF Inter-worthless title and is rounds it off as a shocker!

If that doesn't give you the horn I don't know what would! We can all dream :D

I met up with Josh at the weigh in for his last fight and he said he was saying at bantam from now on.

I reckon we'd get one win out of all those. Don't ask me which though. Still be an amazing night, regardless of the results.
