Good to see Katie Taylor nominated for the RTE Sportsperson of the year award this year. Must be in the running but I feel that McDowell or McCoy will end up getting the award ahead of her. I hope she wins it but I doubt that she will.
Also the Irish Boxing team is nominated in the team of the year award. Should be a shoe in with the amount of medals all the teams have won in the last year hopefully they get the reward they deserve.:bbb
