I was thinking about checking into a city centre hotel and then driving to the City West for the fights. Will only be drinking after the fights. I wonder what hotels would be a good option i.e. good 24 hour hotel bar with satalite tv. But, Paddy I will take you up on your offer if there is no joy with the Magee fight in the hotel!:good

So HBO have put their foot down and rejected Lee vs Martinez, i read on a few good boxing twitters.

He has also lost the Vera fight to Mora. Hard luck Lee. Looks like he will have to do things the hard way.

 

Sky are setting up a HBO channel, I wonder if it will show the regular HBO fights?

Does this set up a Lee Macklin fight for the euro crown in a Peters bid to take some of the gloss of Casey VS Rigo card.Wouldnt put it past him.

 

I read about that deal and Im pretty sure it only covers original HBO programming. I take this to mean The Sopranos and Boardwalk Empire, things like that. Dont think the boxing will be included
