    Wrong end of the country for me Nutter - will definitely be in Limerick though.

    Im going to both the Dublin promotions,although I think the Limerick promotion is the best of the three.:good

    i have agree with u there marty....lee and mccloskey in 2 hard scraps..plus a talented undercard...you cant ask more than that

    i was checking boxrec...and paul hyland fights marc callaghan for the irish superbantam title...thats another good fight for the july 5th card...callaghan did ok against lindsay in italy a few weeks back...this is a step up in class for hyland...he could be pushed to the wire on this one:yep

    Yeah, that could be a tougher contest than expected for Paul.The Hyland brothers are making a bit of a splash, good luck to them.

    fair dueas to katie winning again, does anyone know if she'd ever think of turning pro, i'm sorry to say my knowledge of the female boxing game is fairly limited

    I hear her goal is to fight in the 2012 London Olympics. There's no women boxing at these Olympics, but there's a great confidence among women boxing that this will change by 2012. I hope it does, it would guarantee Ireland a gold medal. Katie is the p4p best woman amateur boxer in the world, if only our male boxers were as good.:lol:

    Do any of you know whether stephen haughian would claim irish nationality or not? The reason I ask this is because I tend to take more of an interest in Irish boxers like duddy and mccloskey.

    i couldnt be sure but i think he boxed for Ireland in the amateurs but i dont know if that has any relevance to which country he might declare for
