I was a bit surprised that Duddy called it a day. It came out of nowhere but if your heart isnt in it any more then your best off calling it a day. Best of luck to Duddy in what he does next he has gone out in a good way on his terms instead of trying to fight on and taking more punishment.

As for Andy I wonder if Peters could get him the Barker fight for the European strap? Any how he has been a bit unlucky with fights falling by the wayside in the recent months.

Thats a bit of an understatement but its encouraging to see he has being willing to fight in all of them though, his break will have to and i hope he takes it when it comes.

if he beats mcewan id imagine hed get more credit then for beating duddy
dont forget duddy lost to lyell and chavez jr clearly who is not any great shakes while mcewan is another prospect and is undefeated

I'd give him more credit alright for beating McEwan over Duddy, but Lee-Duddy was a very high profile fight, so high profile in fact that the winner may have been catapulted into a title challenge. Beating McEwan won't have the same effect

"I also believe I am entitled to get the chance to step up."

    :patsch

Lee is clearly a step back for Fitzy after being the mighty Kevin Hammond, he should be fighting Martinez to see who the P4P king is. What a deluded fool.

Fitzy is coming across as a complete idiot here. Lets face it he wont even rematch Ciaran Healy and his celebrations after his fight with Lee Murtagh were pathetic.

Ha good old Mush. I hope that's true. I think they should put Fitz in with Lee. It might shut the idiot up once and for all. To borrow a phrase from promoter/manager extrodanaire, Moe Syzlack, Lee would fustigate him.
