John ODonnell was born in Galway.I think hes a member of the Irish traveling community.I know he got knocked sparked out in the USA a few months back, but before that the guys on Sky were raving about him.

He went tooth and nail with Leonard Pierre, the same Leonard Pierre that Duddy KTFO in 45secs 3 years ago.He also got destroyed in 1 rnd by Miranda. On paper his record looks decent but i think he's just your average journeyman although i thought that about Vera too.
Allthesame Lee to win by KO inside 4 - no more dickin around:happy

I hope your right, a lot of posters on the main forum are thinking Gibbs will ko Lee.The gloss has come of Lee even in Limerick, I hear the promoter is finding it hard to shift tickets.

Just to give you all an update. A few technical glitches have meant he havent been updating the site as often as we should, but on the flip side it means the July edition will have loads of good stuff.
Brian Magee, Damaen Kelly, Bernard Dunne, Oisin ***an, Jim Rock, Paul McCloskey.
As regards Lee, I believe he is at a training camp in Germany, so getting hold of him at this stage isnt too easy

its amazing how fast the doubers come out especially in boxing circles.I'll keep faith in Lee at least untill the 19th. and hope for the best.
As to the ticket situation i cant comment on just Limerick but i hear both Dublin shows are slow to sell aswell.Time of year i guess, people heading away or just back from holidays.
I wonder how much of it has to do with the bit of a downturn the country is experiencing and if this is a factor what hope for future shows.

The price isn't exactly helping either , the cheapest for tickets to the Lee fight is €60+€6 service charge per ticket .

I was thinking of going with the old man but that would mean over €130 for seats that are probably pretty **** anyway .

Considering I'll be at oxegen the week before I just don't have the cash lying around and I'd say it's the same for a lot of people .

There was a good article in the irish examiner 2 weeks ago it is up on the website. He talks about the vera fight a bit more in-depth. He sound's very fired up. Lee ko6 gibbs. Gibb's pressure should make it interesting.

Gibbs isn't a pressure fighter , he's natural a counter puncher but I suppose he may adopt different tactics for this fight .

oops i was sure he was pressure fighter, anyways i think lee should be matched up with some pressure fighters after this to see will he get drawn into a brawl again.
