    ormond is fighting in a couple of weeks in scotland on burns undercard against an undefeated lad, he should be challenging for commonwealth by end of the year and i know spike is back training hard in pascals

    What happens if Ward goes to the worlds and qualifies for London, then Egan wins the WSB.Would there have to be a box off to see who goes to London or could we possibly have 2 fighters in the same weight class?

    i heard somewhere that its the first to quailfy which would be the wsb winner and no box-off could be wrong

    The WSB winners will be the unbeaten fighters. Egan won't be one of them, Nevin probably won't either despite doing well.

    anyone else read the new boxing news? Saul Alvarez says there was an Irish grandfather somewhere in the past. All aboard the bandwagon ha ha

    sorry thats in boxing monthly not news. Article also says Schaefer is considering marketing him in Ireland

    If he can cut turf I'll support him as an Irish fighter. If he's good at stabbing (Limerick city style) that will do me also.
