Granted Paschal Collins was a bit over the top when saying Callaghan's corner should stop the fight, but I would prefer listening to him than Jimmy 'the memory man' Magee and Dave McCauley any day.

I thought that Paulie Hyland looked good also. Egan should concentrate on O'Sullivan and the Hylands in future. A promotion in Cork Im sure would get a better response from the public, should be Egans and tv3 next step. What do you think Podge, our man on the inside:yep

Jon O'Brien was in with some Romanian but he weighed a stone & a half more and was about 3 foot taller. Neither men had trained and were a disgrace with the Romanian giving his "all" for 6 minutes and then he just started keeling over in tiredness. O'Brien didn't land a single punch either and looked flabby as usual. Then thought he was the dogs bollox when his opponent wouldn't come out for the 3rd.:good

Sweeney looked atrocious in appearance(freakishly skinny arms and a fat body) but has fast hands and is quite accurate, you can see he was a very good amatuer. However he tended to lead in with his mallet alot. His Romanian opponent had to retire with a "sore wrist" after the 2nd.

Id say about 5 or 600..really badly promoted!

I was there last night and brought 3 friends (non boxing fans) who I told it would be a good night out. What a load of shite, it was embarassing, "Big Time Boxing"???? More like big time shite.

the tickets we got cost 66 euro each and were in the tiered seats and we were told that to make the place look full on TV we had to move to the other side and then ended up sitting behind guys who had paid 30 euros for their seats, what a joke.

As for the fights the romanian lad that fought O'Brien pulled out mysteriously at the end of a round in which he had battered o'brien around the place. It all looked a bit suspicous and the lads I was with thought it was a complete joke.

The whole event was really amateurish and the venue is in the middle of nowhere. I won't be conned into going to another one and my friends are now convinced that pro boxing is a complete joke.

What made it worse was that the programme went on about how this was going to be "big time" stuff, in reality I've been to small amateur club shows that were better run and a lot more entertaining.

The only positives I can take out of it was that Hyland looked pretty good and it was nice to see Moore in action even if it was just a glorified spar.

I was going to go to the stadium as well next week for Dunne but last night has left a bad taste in the mouth (and 3 well pissed off friends).

I enjoyed tv3 coverage, I thought the coverage was first rate.Your friends should not allow one bad experience to deter them from going back to watch more boxing.

i thought the attendence was very poor as well, just speckles of people in the stands. Steve collins looked to be enjoying himself in the studio compared to last time on rte where he looked agitated.
