You are right. I actually thought it was a legit article. I am sure I aint the only one.

I even said to Green Jab, "Jesus, that is a seriously honest interview that Fitzer gave". If true it contained a lot of info that boxers bury deep inside their subconscious are rarely reveal.

Anyway, after the initial fleeting hilarity of being dupped passed, it seems that the "prank" could have had more serious ramifications.

Could that article have had something to do with Fitzer not giving up the title because he believed that it was a **** stirrer at the IPBA that was behind him? Just throughing that out there.

There has been a lot of unnecessary petty childish "****-acting" and **** stirring going on over the past month and for the most of it has come from one source. People poisoning people against each other and its spread.

Anyway, I havent got a clue who is behind it but it was a fairly snide act. Lets just hope the cordial atomosphere that once prevailed returns asap. Irish boxing is a small group and the reason I got involved was to help promote the Irish boxing so lets hope the backstabbing can stop.

The Hyland show is the best show by far. If you pair up the fights on the bill then there is no comparison.

Ciaran Healy v Brendan Fitzpatrick is third of a bill at the National Stadium but it would be top of the bill on the others. Says it all.

Hope they all have packed houses though.

first pic looks like it could be Paul Smith ( based only on a sleeve tattoo and they share a gym ) Dunno if hes ideal sparring for Sturm. Does Gallagher ship in outside fighters for spars or does he keep it all in house I wonder?

Some changes have been made to the Craigavon bill with Haughian now boxing Ballyclares Willie Thompson. Also Tommy Tolan will face Eamonn O'kane after Phil Townley pulled out, and Dee Taggart will now face Belfasts Paddy McGarrity. And with Jamie Conlon boxing Delroy Spencer and new pros Marc McCullough and Eddie Nesbit facing each other, this is an excellent card. I have a feeling there wont be a spare seat in the house.

I heard there are a lot of changes on the galway bill aswell and because of it they have dropped their prices to 30 euros or 25 for under 16s.
Hylands show is without a doubt the stand out but i wouldnt consider Hylands a small hall show like the other two.
