In the co-featured bout of the card, which was broadcast on Fox Sport Net and streamed live on RingTV.com, undefeated lightweight prospect Jaime Kavanagh, of Hollywood, Calif., by way of Ireland, scored a third-round stoppage of John Willoughby, of Selma, Ala.

Kavanagh (7-0, 3 KOs) started fast and forced the 36-year-old journeyman back on his heels with a brutally accurate body attack. Although Willoughby (3-8, 2 KOs) fired back whenever he could it didn’t take long for Kavanagh, a former amateur star who is co-trained by Freddie Roach, to physically overwhelm the older, lesser skilled fighter.

could be time for a little step up in the competition me thinks judging by that article. Kavanagh vs Danny O Connor in 6 months time? does O Conor qualify for an Irish title?

Also see Logan McGuinness fighting this weekend, didnt realise he was with Mick Hennessey. Peters should have brought him over when he was doing shows

Logan McGuinness and Murray I meant, but 12 months down the line Kavanagh and Murray would be great too. Add Danny O Connor to the mix and its a hot 135 division. Not sure if O Connor qualifies for an Irish title though

What time are the Irish lads in the ring from. Done a little double on the 2 lads to win gold if that comes in I might have a bet on the Sturm v Macklin fight.
