    lads were yis not watchin the samw fight as me
    the ruskie through a **** load of punches but he landed with **** all
    ward countered him all day with the punches that landed although i dont think he landed with 20

    Great Win by Joe and granted he had a great defence but i thought the Russian had it, i thought the commentator had them mixed up! He said the Russian was in front in the 1st round!

    Some year it's been for young Joe Ward. Who'd have thought he'd beat Kenny Egan and go on to win gold in Europe.

    In fairness the Russian was hitting alot of gloves and arms. Ward hit him with the cleaner shots though I thought it should have been alot closer.

    I usually favour the boxer and not the brawler, but even here I thought the Russian had it. Would like to watch it again.
