I think this would be a great fight for Andy at this time...If Taylor loses again nobody is going to care about him as it stands now he is still quite a big name in the states and a victory over him has to open up a title fight.

I doubt Paulie would be able to disagree. I think Frampton is probably already at British level if I'm honest, whereas Casey hasn't reached it(or at least shown he can do so) as of yet.

I think to be fair to Casey he has done exceptionally well with what has been put in front of him bar Rigo of course but i think to write him off is a bit harsh, Yes Frampton is the better boxer and rounded fighter but Casey can drag you into the trenches, reminds me of Rogan not a super boxer but he can win fights Macklin the other night kind of reminded me of Casey aswell just constantly coming forward throwing constantly trying to force his opponent onto the back foot

When did I write him off? All I said is we don't know what level he's at. He's beaten Hyland, so he's above the current national level, and he's been slaughtered by Rigo, showing he's well below world level.

Those are called facts, not writing somebody off. And there's nothing wrong with pondering where his level is currently at.

twas my comment that probably got D thinking that way and it wasnt meant to be serious but your point is valid.I personnaly love to watch willy fight but dont think he would be able to beat a lot of the eruo top ten but he will always be in exciting fights which is a big plus.
the question is when will we see him out again and under whos banner? iv heard a lot of talk about Dolphil and Don O Leary parting ways and some say that dolphil have come to an end but i dont know enough about the situation to speculate i just hope its not true.

I'd like to see him in one keep busy fight first with a respected journeyman to just get the confidence back and then I'd like to see him challenge some decent Euro level and British level fighters.

Agree that he's accomplished a lot with the ability he was given and like everyone else I think it's hard to tell how he good he is... his greatest performance was against a guy that only had two weeks preparation and his worst performance was against a guy who is possibly the best in the division so it's very hard to gage exactly where he's at and for that reason I think they should pay it cautious for the time being.
