Many pundits do believe wee Carl will get a go off Kik O'Martinez, eligible for the Irish title after one of his ancestors blasted the west coast off the Spanish Armada. Plus, he once mooched an Irish bird in Alicante. This should be a great card though, who else is going to be on it? Kane v ..... Jamie Conlon for a British?
Casey a free agent http://www.irish-boxing.com/2011/07/licence-to-thrill-casey-is-a-free-agent/ Frampton Kiko http://www.irish-boxing.com/2011/06/mcguigan-tells-peters-to-get-in-touch-to-make-martinez-frampton/ re the Hylands show- i thought it was a good card and fair play to the jabber he did a good job selling the show etc. Peters chipped in a bit too i think. It was full enough fairly ealry on but it didnt pack out for the main event, but thats cause the Hylands must sell the same tickets. Pajo's profile was certainly raised and hopefully next time he packs the place out.
I don't claim to be an expert but I most certainly can read, and it's announced in todays Newsletter from Carls own column, he's near certain it's on.
seems Brian Vera is the frontrunner to fight Chavez Jr in November so who would ye like to see Andy fight on the Martinez UC now? Personally I think Manfredo Jr would be good and hes with DiBella so shouldnt be hard to make. Both sell tickets on the east coast so it would be a good fit for Atlantic City or Foxwoods. Martinez-Barker wont draw flies so DiBellas gonna need ticket sellers on the UC. Hope Lee has another keep busy before October though
I can't understand why they put shows on in Foxwoods:huh It's in the middle of nowhere (4 hours from New York).
more like 3 hours if your not cheap and get the direct Bus! they put fights on there cause the casinos pay the promoter a "site fee"
