Well if that's the case, he should button it and fight in Europe instead of flapping his gums to all the local newspapers about wanting to box Fury on the 17th. And besides if Rogan gets flattened in Europe and that's more than a distinct possibility, do you honestly believe he will still get to box Fury. Give yourself a shake Moorser.

Yeah, if rogan fights Fury now and loses, then where else can he go. A loss in Germany against Pulev will be untelevised over here, so he can always come back and claim he got jobbed or at least it has less of an impact. But, losing in September in front of a big Belfast crowd and it is difficult to come back. I guess that is the business logic.

Rogie is lacking a good promoter to put him on a path towards a few fights. Coleman Barret for the Irish Title, a third fight with Sexton and then a shot at Fury or the European Title - would have been better progression than having a long spell of inactivity and then straight back in against a top opponent, were he is the opponent.

I think he has been saying he never agreed to the fight Ardy! he said he woul knock Fury out alright, but suggested the date etc were picked without talking to him. Look here-

but i think if he thinks he can beat Fury that is the fight to take! Fury is passage back to the big time

Rogan thinks he can beat everyone. I know I'm not the only one on here to ever interview him. In one mental 45-minute talk he told me he'd moida every heavyweight from here to LA, wants to batter Holyfield, Fury, Sexton, Perez, Barret, Chisorer....
Sample quote: “I heard they want me to fight Mike Perez at some stage. Now, in the future I can be one of those guys they gauge prospects against, but not yet.

“I’m the Irish heavyweight. The peoples’ champion. They fill the Odyssey for me. Fair play to Mike, he’s doing well from his Cork base and I’d fight him if the price is right. It would be a good one: The No 1 Prizefighter vs the No 1 International Prizefighter.”

He says he'd beat anyone, but if he turns down a shot with Fury it looks terrible, especially as date and venue suit, and he's gonna get paid. What more does he want? In another interview, with War7en, he said 'I like Rogan and it was good to work with him - until he started talking telephone numbers'.

Poor old Rogan, I admire his fighting spirit but he is delusional.

Good thing he never fought Helenius, he would have been on the receiving end of a savage beating.

Jonny in the Irish News and the Newsletter he has been bragging that Belfast his his town, and if Fury is to fight here it should only be against him. Now that he seen Hennessy was prepared to give him the opportunity against Fury, his tone changed.

I agree with this, Rogan at times is bordering on delusional.

He is a brilliant talker and this fight makes business, and sporting sense. I hope they get it on - it's the chance Rogie has been crying out for.

Those are fair points. I would love to know how much Hennessy offered him.

I cant see Green Jab backing down from any version of Cronan, 16st or 13st.

Jabber has the skills to pay the bills and I am sure he wont be backing out of anything.

Meself and Johnny are ready to go for the 22nd of October, just need a venue and we are away.
