Right now a six-rounder between JJN and Carlos would be some scrap, the best fight in Ireland?

He's quieter on all forms of social media than he used to be. I reckon he's been given some advice to keep the bantering with web mongs to a minimum. Given what has happend with Fitz on facebook etc... it's probably not the worst advice in the world

Yeah suspect as much. Open mouth catches no flies and all that, not to mention what you've got waiting for him!

Over six rounds Matt? WSB style, that's a fight worth travelling to the backarse of Africa for.

Too right, a fighter can easily walk himself into situations were lads are asking him when is he going to fight x, y or z

Has anybody on here ever seen a documentary called Blackwhite, made in 2003/4 and focused on the friendship between Paddy Barnes and Carl Frampton? Seems to have a load of politicians, who are almost always dicks when talking sport - Michael ****ing Ring-hopper, anyone - but apart from that it's the boys in the gym. Must get a look at it, or a reissue. Two European champions at the start of it all, everything going well...

Reilly won his case against the iaba so the decision to include him in the europeans will also take place tomorrow and wait for it i hear rumblings that Mc Monagle is going to court to stop Connie sheehan boxing in the world champioships....Lads it has all gone to f\\k.
Courtcase should never by the way our countries teams get picked.
There should be a vote of no confidence in those in power at the IABA..
This is affecting two teams as they prepare for very important international events..Its a disgrace.

if this is true mcmonagle is a ***** , he was beaten fair and square by sheahan and just accept it . whereas o'reilly had a decent argument , he is Irelands best hope and was only ****ed off the team really because joyce is a st.micheals boxer.

The only way out for the IABA is to let Billy Walsh select the team, that's the way it should have been from the start. Nobody sues Kidney or Trapp, do they?
Trust the man and his team dammit, they are the envy of the world and I'm sure O'Rourke, Murphy, Crowley et al are much better that Billy at loads of vital and important organizational and political affairs but leave the boxing and boxers to the proven experts. Damn it that's not hard to grasp is it? and in the end all (or almost all) have boxing at heart.

They've been passing the buck and passing the buck until finally they should pass it to the man who should be responsible. Yeah, give it to Billy.

Oh Carlos' and Barnes' fillim: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0479646/

Trying to scope out the director on twitter for a look at it.
