Anyone else think Willie McLaughlin deserves a box off with Sheehan . what has Sheehan done in the last 3 years bar win a box off which Willie wasnt in . Willie has beaten the current European champion Fred Evans by a ten point margain a month before the Europeans and also beat last years European champion Backsai from Hungary last November.

Agree with you. Why didn't they even have a box-off? Then again, McLaughlin's not at the right club, is he? Same goes for Michael McDonagh, national champion, unbeaten domestically as a senior, doesn't even get a box-off. Place goes to a boxer from a certain club.
