I think so myself, it seems unusual that there would be repeat exam on friday and a sunday and surely the place could have been set up again.Sickened for Gary and Willie would have been a great comeback fight for him.Looks like reputations are hard to get rid of deserved or not. Whatever the reason im just pissed off for all the boxers and especially Alan Donnellan he was suposed to be on the Galway show aswell that two shows were called off on him.I was supposd to get tickets from him the weekend.I was chatting to him he seems a really nice lad.
Verbal Sparring between Team Fury and Rogan at Sept 17 show press conference launch http://www.irish-boxing.com/2011/08/rogan-and-fury-spar-verbally-in-kings-hall/
Hyde said back in July the lad from LIT said that they had exams and it could cause bother...then in August he said it would be ok- before changing his mind again- on a plus note Willie on the under card of Fury, with Witter Haughian, kevin O'Hara and Healy Hillerby could be a cracking card
I wasn't there but gasman was there, as was the TV cameras. What I'm hearing is that Rogie blew his top. Boxing: Fitzpatrick and Forde stay in Euro glory hunt The Irish Independent Willie Casey comeback off due to venue problem World Boxing News Rogan gatecrashes Fury press conference World Boxing News Irish Amateur Boxing Action Results From Dublin Tournament Saddo Boxing McDonagh heads Irish Gold chase at Citywest Sports News Ireland My TV hero: David Morrissey on Harry Carpenter guardian.co.uk Also Eamonn Magee pleaded guilty today of stealing two bottles of champagne from a shop or off licence.
It was madness today. Myself and Mr Wellings caught up in it! Rogie only blew his top at the very end. I'm sure Green Jab or Irish Boxers willl have video up soon, very entertaining to be there and I hope they make a deal. Unlikely though.
Stephen Broadhurst and Gary Sweeney both through to the quarter finals and the European Youths today. George Bates lost on a countback. Michael O Reily and Kierean Forde boxing later.
Jonny I heard the Russian super-heavy is equal in the beast stakes to the German? Fireworks to come....?
Well hes not as big as the German but **** he is an animal. Trust me, if these two fight be there. Will be a ****in war I'd say.

Was over in Citywest today some good wins for Ireland . George Bates was very unlucky to lose to the Russian on a countback . Stephen Broadhurst won well he is very relaxed in the ring and won well. Gary Sweeney who is a relation of Michael Sweeney (brother I think) won well today against a black Ukranian lad Bidenko (I thought I was seeing things) he boxes fairly similar to Michael and well deserved his victory .
I couldn't get audio, for now, but thanks for the Rogie video...He is quite the character ain't he .. ( could this stuff be 'staged' to build up interest in a Fury fight, or is that a dumb idea?
Rogan looked in fantastic shape, by the way. And all joking aside, to say August 10 wasn't enough time to prepare is pushing it a little. One of his gripes was that he wasn't just allowed say 'no', that it meant he was out of the frame for good. But why say no..... That never became clear enough. A business slight, that Hennessy hadn't come to him man to man.
