Yes but six have Olympic eliminators tomorrow.

Fair enough tho, how many out of seven?

Ward and O'Neill are the two most likely for me at the minute. Nevin and Conlan have tough draws and Sheahan, Joyce, don't know too much about their opponents. That leaves Con to pull off the upset. I talked to him before they went away and he's convinced he can beat him - though he's giving away quite a bit of weight I gather!

I'm the eternal optimist but all have a shot. Nevin and Conlon have tough draws but both are class. Their opponents have tougher draw if you get my drift. Roy will be an outside bet but its within the range of the possible. O'Neill and Ward can do it, Ward for sure and watch Do, his side of the draw has opened up, he's in form and they are scoring bodyshots, WYB! HE'S AS GOOD AS ANYONE IN HIS HALF OF THE DRAW.
Con is boxing brilliant and the Italian can be listless at times, Con has the boxing and speed to trouble Cammerelle, who is no slouch himself, but can he handle the power?

Yeah Conny in optimistic mood going into the fight done alot of hard sparring with Cammerelle so who knows.I think Cammerelle was about 120kg a week or so before the weigh in.

Yeah. It's on ww*.iaba.ie Worth reading the article, sounds like the ref's warning was crucial. Bad as it is, sounds like he's already learned a lot from it.

Good to see Nevin getting into the next round. I done him to win Gold so hopefully he will show his class. Great for the 2 lads to make London as well. Shocked Ward got beat but I think him Barnes and Moylette or Hickey have a great chance of making London. Feel this could be the biggest team we will send over the Olympics in a long long time.

As for a Ward v Egan match up I feel it would be too big a risk for Ward. Go again at the weight he boxed in the Worlds and see if he has any luck in the next quailifers.
