Walshy, Irish Ropes who promote Duddy have booked the Kings Hall for the 29th November, they are hoping to lure Philips to Belfast. Irish Ropes believe Philips team [Banner Promotions] will let them know by the end of this week, if they will accept the offer to come to Ireland.:hi:

The book is now available from WHSmith, Amazon.co and Amazon.co.uk or if you are in Ireland just drop me a PM and I can arrange a copy.

According to boxrec, there are only 4 fights on Saturdays bill in Paddy Hyland's show.Surely thats not right. Does anyone know the full card.

I heard the promotion is near sold out, so well done Pa Hyland.

Considering almost everyone going to that bill is only going to see the Hyland's anyway I wouldn't be surprised.

How much are tickets going for anyway ?

Boxrec gives the number for tickets as 00353872463914 or 00353870613785

The Hyland show is a dinner show so four fights is a perfect number - as it isnt the only entertainment.
As regards Peters Id expect things to kick off in late October. September was never a runner for RTE as it is the business end of the GAA Championship and with shows on a Saturday like 'up for the final' and the Premiership there isnt much space for boxing. The Autumn looks to be shaping up nicely. Id imagine the delay is in trying to get title shots for some of the boxers. If they can id say each marquee boxer (Dunne, Duddy, McCloskey, Lee) would be on standalone cards. If not Id say double headers against international opposition
