Yeah, you'r right, saw a different Christy Joyce entered.
Oh, I really rate Coyle but don't think he is entered either.[/QUOTE]

Im told Coyle has packed it in,which is a real shame and Joyce is too old was talking to him after he won the inters and he told me he wasnt entering the seniors this year,Said he is going to take a year to develop into a full 75k boxer seems a really nice and well tuned in young lad.Definetly one for the future.

Paul Edwards has pulled out of the Conlan contest, apparently his head wasn't right:patsch. Jamie has been promised a 6rd contest instead.

If Jamie wins his next contest, Maloney has promised him a title shot against Chris Edwards in Belfast.

Coyle has packed it in ?? I wonder why he was one of the best in Europe at his weight and only lost to Ward by a point a few years ago . Very strange .He only won the Youth 1 at 75 kgs a few months ago aswel .

He gave Ward like an 8-0 lead going into the last round and lost by one!
Also beat Gary Sweeney, Thomas Conroy and a load others. Classy fella as well.

Was talking to John Breen and he's taking the positives. So Paul Edwards doesn't want to fight him, that's clear. But Maloney has Chris Edwards, will accommodate Conlan on the card anyway, and if there's an impressive performance he looks likely to hand Conlan a shot at Chris Edwards afterwards. That's the positives they're taking.
