The best Irish boxer now is Mike Perez living in Ireland... The Irish male poplulation was disspersed in armies all throught the world in the 1600's to the 1800's. I see more the Scots doing more in boxing than the Irish in this era....

Unless Irelad gets some good Cuban trainers and build up a program that would take a decade or two..

Why is Ireland one of the top 5 amateur boxing countries in the world if they need cuban trainers? Dont talk about something if your going to talk about it out of your ass.

Won 2 of his last 8 fights.

Fair enough, at least he has a winning record, but Paddy Hyland is not getting any younger - I just wonder if/when he is gonna take a big step up in class?

Patrick Hyland has had well enough fights already. I think a fella of his number of fights should be looking for a European title fight very soon. Id imagine he was very well ranked before he won that bogus wbf belt. He should drop that and go for a fight with Alexander Miskirtchian, whos record isnt all that impressive.

One interesting thing is that Miskirtchian is next defending against a fella that Pajo shut out in a one sided decision last year:hey

Mikey Garcia is the current NABA champion, twould be slaughter if you threw him in with Pajo!

Garcia is close to a world title shot though, so he will undoubtedly be vacating the NABA belt soon. Id still like to see him fight for the European belt, because I think he could win it without too much trouble, but I could see the point in him fighting for an NABA belt since hes in America.
