    conlan and barnes dont represent republic of ireland... they represent IRELAND 32 county IRELAND ...not 26 county r 6 county

    mciroy is 100% catholic... went to a catholic primary school but went to a british state funded grammar school... he lives in holywood which is a orange hole of a place... i would say hes a unionist probably cause all his m8s r :good

    ffs wayne mccullough... paul douglas... john lowey all protesants represented Ireland in the olympics.. they all done it because it was there only option... its like martin lindsay fiting 4 the british title on the frampton bill... do u think tat makes him british... his supporters wood leave u in a pool of blood 4 saying it... lindsay will fite 4 tat title cause its an option.. a way to advance his career:good

    It's interesting that McDowell has said he will represent Ireland

    No, he represented N.Ireland, they separate the countries for golf

    There's R.O.Ireland and N.Ireland. 32 county Ireland hasn't exited sin early 19th century.

    m8 u havent a clue...its called team Ireland not team republic of Ireland @ these olympics and always is... why is der a 32 county Ireland rugby team then:good

    and it was the 20th century

    In boxing you represent Ireland as a whole not the Republic or Northern.

    No he doesn't. He represents himself from Northern Ireland.

    Re: Next Olympics - He has changed his mind already and now says he doesn't know if he'll represent Ireland or Great Britain

    He said he would be honoured to represent either GB or Ireland.

    He said he has always represented the GUI and sees no reason not to continue doing so

    Why weren't Conlon and Barnes on tean GB since N.Ireland is part of Brittan?

    If golf is in the next olympics and he doesn't make the GB team, he would then make himself available for the Ireland team.
