He's looked alright when I've seen him but, as you got to in the final sentence, I'd rather see him in with Bhaktin than some of the other names being mentioned. Bhaktin is at about the same stage of his career as Carl whereas the rest are vastly more experienced. I personally don't get the rush with Frampton. I wouldn't want to throw him into a top 5 fight just yet. Let him have another couple of fights against lads somewhere in the range of Molitors stature. While he executed the plan perfectly against Molitor he won't always have it all his own way. So it'll be good for him to have experienced a bit more going into a fight against someone like a Donaire where you can be absolutely sure he wouldn't have it all his own way.

Yep agree with this, to me saurland was a great option, because those Germans get behind every boxer who fights there regardless of where their from, he could've had two big fan bases here and Germany. But i suppose khan wrote the biggest cheque
I imagine the WSB experience will be great for Nevin. I like how he keeps in good shape too. I am guessing that Khan will start him off slowly but it was good to hear Nevin will be fighting out of UK and Ireland.
Who Knows could be a great move, Nevin is class and that will shine thorugh, Khan wont be in the ring with him, just wish DOJ, Willie Mc and Phil Sutcliffe would follow him into the pro ranks, they are made for it imo !

The thing is for John Joe Nevin its not a bad move. Put it this way if he can get on some of Khans fights be it in the US or UK as well on the undercard it will be of great benefit for him. Be interested to see who will be his trainer and in his corner. I wonder if they will team him up with someone in the UK or will John Joe pick his own trainers. He has the skil just finding the right trainer will be key for him.
Exactly why I don't see him scaling the same heights he has as an amateur. Imagine him doing twelve rounds with that Mexican he beat? Those are the type of guys he'll be against when he steps up.
Interesting step up for Hyland if that happens. Fortuna blew Cristobal Cruz to bits a couple of fights back. Huge step up and he's clearly being lined up as a lamb to the slaughter to make Fortuna look good. He finally has a chance to make a real mark if this one comes off. I'd also love to see Phil Sutcliffe go pro. I don't think he shake the world but I think he'd be a very entertaining fighter and probably knock about for EBU titles and give us a lot of exciting nights while putting bums on seats
