so I went down to the weigh in of the WSB today. I was the only one there that wasnt on the WSB payroll. What will it take to get this thing to catch on? the product cant be any better so its down to promotion and exposure.

However, I am hearing the its sold out. It would want to be at a tenner a ticket!

    A few snaps for ye!

Agreed. Jones was never a massive draw, even in the U.S., so Eire, north or ROI, is the only logical venue. Just don't sense the public demand for this fight, though, 15+ years after its due date. As you say, what is the point aside from money?

I fancy Cummings to win at 75kg this year, Barnes may have under estimated Myres last year and won't make that mistake again. Conlon , Ward , McCarthy, JJN should all retain their titles. 69 will be interesting with Nolan, McLaughlin, JJJ who you can't write off and outsider and newcomer Thurles Moran. At 64 I'm gonna tip Niall Murray and at 91+ Dean Gardiner. Hopefully the finals gets a huge crowd out in City West.

Lovely piece,he will probably be always remembered as the man who finished Mike Tyson,it seems if he was more committed he might have had a go at one of the belts, but all in all he done Ireland proud.

Moran's not really a new comer. He won an title a few years ago and took some time out. He just won the u23's and went to the euro's. Not a bad fighter.

I just meant newcomer to the seniors, this is his first year if I'm not wrong, Im aware of his U23 title and fighting for Ireland and that's why I think he could go far this year.

He fought in the seniors a few years ago. He's been out for a few years though.

I didn't realise he had fought in the seniors a few years ago. How did he do in them? He had a great win in the under 23's final
