    Anybody else here think John Joe Nevin is terrible underrated and under appreciated?
    He is 23(!) arguable our most successful amature ever, two World bronze, Olympic silver and countless international wins?
    In truth, as much as I love Katie a Silver in London at 56 Mens probably is more difficult to win. And he has wins over both the current World and Olympic champions in championships.
    His recent win over the French pro LIGHTWEIGHT champion with a 12 and 0 record was phenomenal esp as Sow himself was a Beijing Silver medalist, quality but JJN made him luck average while boxing a stone above his weight.

    Joe Ward will be fighting Benchabla, the Algerian next weekend. That'll probably be his best opponent in the WSB so far.

    agree with this 100% said it before the tourney in work that he was the one to watch

    Hes probably my favourite amateur to watch :deal

    Sorry no inside information lads havn't been training in crumlin in a long time!! All seems very quiet on lee front anybody hear how his training camp is going??

    Holy ****, what is that John Duddy thing? He's probably wondering now why he didn't take the money and fight Andy Lee, cause even a first round knock out couldn't be more embarassing than that video.
