Interesting point Fra. As regards McIlroy, I think the lack of popularity might be more down to the fact that he is, as you say, a "c o c k". There is something extremely annoying about the guy. He's just not a likeable figure. I would of said that, moreso than his nationality, is the reason he's unpopular. Interesting about Carl though :think

 

if mcilroy was truly british as from Britain... the british media would be all over him like a rash.. ffs 4 a while there he was considered the new tiger woods until he changed his clubs atsch... he would 4 def had done much better in bbc sports personality if he had been English...

I honestly dont know to tell the truth , i just think it isnt any of the big irish names we would have heard by know i stand corrected if im wrong though ! Hope its some1 exciting anway ! @Moorser i know what ya mean bu the money they are on they would not make in the pro game unless they were going be the elite ! The boys are probably on as much if not more monry than Crl is at the moment and they hae to pay no1 , like managers, promoters, coaches, nutritionists etc

was listening to the ringside pod cast and the interview bj sanders it sounds like to me he is looking past spike to his fight with ryder what u lads think

 

i heard it was barnes form a few referees but i cant see it myself

 

Of course he is looking past Spike, no matter what his team says.

You'd have to fancy BJS anyway but I hope Spike uses the Ryder fight as motivation and I really hopes he pulls it off!!!

My guess would be that its Darren O'Neill, I was speaking to him on Paddys day in Coppers and he was waiting on the outcome of a few things as regards changes in WSB and having a certain amount of pro fights and still being able to compete in them something along those lines, I was fairly locked but he was giving me the impression that he was seriously considering it. And as far as Im aware he hasnt had any permanent teaching opportunities...like i said just a guess.
