Excellent stuff Slap, really hope it goes well for you. You've got a great 50/50 fight headlining, and some other very talented fighters on the card (Gallagher is a great addition).

Also I'm happy to see Christine McMahon on a show again, considering the way women's boxing is she's very close to either a European or World title shot. Now I know it would be very difficult to get a World title bout at home with the way Irish boxing is. However a European title fight at home and a first female Irish European boxing champion would not be out of the question.
Both the Bantamweight and Super-Bantamweight titles are vacant and all she would need is for one of the ranked fighters at Super-Bantamweights (or maybe even some of the ranked Fly's) which is Karine Rinaldo (#1), Nassera Kebaili (#3) or Eva Marcu (#4) to agree to the fight along with the EBU. None of these women hold the sort of records which would scare you, and it costs just €1,000 for the minimum bid to hold a Female European title fight (I'm sure there's other costs with officials etc).

Christina is Ranked #10 with the WBC at Bantamweight, and although isn't ranked by the WBA or IBF (I can't find the WBO's) I doubt she's too far away from a place in all of the top body's rankings. A European title win would surely cement that :think

I have been impressed with her but is she not reaching the twilight years?
How many rounds would a title shot like that be?

EBU women's title is over 10x2's.
She's not young (38) but successful fighters in the women's game tend to be a little older (probably because many of them don't take up boxing as early as men so progress more in later age ala Sergio Martinez), the WBC Super-Bantamweight champion at the moment is 45 years of age and turns 46 this month.

So there's still a bit of time there to do something with her career.

The fight is on tonight in America (early hours of morning over here).
Kavanagh is not scheduled to be on tv, the 3 fights Showtime plan to show are Wilder vs Lyakhovich, Vargas vs Bennett and Charlo vs Smith.

Unfortunately even if we get some early finishes Kavanagh is unlikely to make it into the 2 hour time slot, Gary Russell is fighting just before Showtime goes live, and undefeated Heavyweight Gerald Washington is also on the undercard (and further up it than Kavanagh).

The only question is do Golden Boy stream the untelevised part of their undercards like Top Rank ?, would be great to see Jamie's fight.
