This is gonna be a interesting fight tonight between McCloskey and Lynes.A fight between two stylists. McCloskey on points:yep
haha! what a performance...not just that he won but he made it look like there was a huge gulf in class between, them he looked like pernell whitaker! only way is up for mccloskey from here and he seems ambitious enough to go on to bigger things....maybe some conditioning work needed tho?
sweet is right, seen him gd few times on rte but was always bit suspicious of the oppposition but he did the exact same thing to lynes....he did sometimes get caught coming in tho which as going up in class will become more dangerous....how far u reckon he can go? his judging of the distance and confidence in his timing was quality...best world title challenge hope?
a lot on this thread think hes r best chance 4 world honours...i hope peters his manager can pull some strings and mayb get a a european r world title shot in the next year:good
Saw McCloskey's last three fights before this one. The fight with Nigel Wright was a little closer than the scorecard suggested however I felt that Lynes would be better suited to his style. As soon as I heard about Barnes being out and McCloskey in I put £50 on him. McCloskey is a class act and could go all the way.
