It would have to be Dublin if it happens at all.
It's a constantly changing situation with the middleweights. I think Sturm will beat Barker and that will open other options, although it will take the shine off the 4 Man British Irish tournament that was discussed on TV a few weeks ago.
    :good

There was talk of it in Tipperary in the stadium but that would hardly be neutral, neither would Limerick. If it is in Ireland Dublin is a neutral grounds and both have fought and have a fan base there while its only a flight away from Birmingham, 2 hour drive from both Limerick and Tip, and for the really hardcore nut fans both have in the US, a direct flight from New York/Chicago.
Only other place that would make sense is Madison Square Garden but would have to be patricks day or patricks weekend. unless it was the co main event with a Frampton world title shot (Quigg).

Dublin seems the most obvious choice. I wonder if Brian Peters could be involved in this.

he Has parted ways with Macklin now.
On a separate note - Lee is out again in Germany on December 14th.
Opponent is not confirmed but I suspect it may be against Domnick Britsch.
I say this because Britsch is schedule to fight a TBA that night at 160 and I can't imagine Andy Lee going out there to fight a lesser opponent.
Decent opponent if I am right given its in his backyard and Lee will need a convincing win if not by ko.

Seen Britsch lose to a Spanish boxer [name escapes me] a few fights back. The Spainard was very average, this is a very winnable fight for Lee if it comes off.:deal

Live coverage of the Irish Intermediate Boxing Finals tomorrow on @TG4TV from 7:30pm.

Please tune in and post this message on your own page to spread the word! It is a chance to prove to broadcasters that boxing does big enough viewing figures and hopefully it will be shown again. #irishboxing

Did anybody see the news in the Sunday world today. Terrible news if true. I could not really tell from the photos if it was mack or not but it won't be doing the sport any favours. Maybe he was afraid to turn them down in fear of being targeted by them!
