One thing that concerns me is that Andy doesn't do well against southpaws..McKewan, ...Jackson dropped him with a southpaw lead right hook.
I don't think he should jab and move.......
I think he should do a Macklin on it and push the pace to a level Korobov ain't comfortable with. Above all he must NOT let the beefier man push him back to the corners and ropes early on. Andy gets caught like a deer in the headlights when this happens.

Yes, I am not ruling out any outcome here. Nor should you.
No one on here is categorically saying how this one will go. It's all to play for.

What outcome do YOU have in mind?

Andy could do it, but he needs to do some or all of the following:
1.be tough and gutsy. Check. No problem there.
    2. Push the pace.
    3. Move his head
    4. Try andkeep his guard up, particularly his left glove.
    5. Watch that southpaw right hook, Andy!
    6. Stay off the damn ropes, Andy!

A lot of stating the obvious there but its all true except maybe the need of pushing the pace if Andy is within 2 points of Korobov after six at mid pace i think we got game on,
Andy has proven he can increase down the stretch korbov has not,

An awful lot will hinge on how well Andy handles the southpaw style. It had not suited him in the past. He got a bit rattled at the very end of his fight with limited French toughie belgecham, laboured badly until Craig McKewan gassed, and got dropped by Jackson from a southpaw stance.
The good news is that Korobov is not inclined to be a mauler brawler type - the type of boxer which would trouble Andy. In fact Korobov fights usually at a fairly undemanding, almost pedestrian pace...not likely to be bulling forward forcing Andy into the ropes etc. Korobov likes to stand back and take his time about things, but build-wise he definitely looks to be the stronger man.

Question for those in the know on the Irish boxing scene...

Conrad Cummings, yay or nay? Will he go far in the middleweight division, British level maybe European?

He's only been fighting tomato cans so far, but that's to be expected

Ive seen him, including live, and he seems solid enough at this stage. Also the people behind him seem to have faith in him, if that counts...Any more than that would be pure guesswork, its just too soon to say really.
There may be a bit of a gap - (hopefully at least partially filled by Spike) - between the departure of Macklin and Andy, and the 'arrival' of (hopefully)! Cummings, Quigley, Keeler etc
I probably reckon Quigley is the best prospect......time will tell.
