Backtracking? Hardly! I was pretty much spot on (as usual )! I said I would be shouting for Andy. Check. I said I didnt rate Korobov and Andy could beat him. Check. And I said Andy doesnt cope well with southpaws - and since Andy was well behind on the cards....Check. Actually its hard to see how I could be any more accurate. All the best. :thumbsup

One of your reasons for not rating Korobov, was that Andy wasn't a bigger underdog with the bookies, and in your opinion Andy is ****e, has taken too many shots and should retire, therefore Korobov must also be useless if it's believed Andy has a chance against him.

Also I found a funny gameplan you laid out for Lee where you said that Andy should 'push the pace' and 'dont hook with Korobov early' none of which Andy did. He went against your advice and it worked out well for him in the end And I thought you agreed Andy was only one round down on your card, in spite of what the judges had said? I didnt pick a winner, BJ. And I fully stand over my gameplan, which as you quite correctly say Andy did not fully follow (he didnt hooh with a hooker early, but he didnt push the pace) - as a result of which he was heading into the later rounds - behind on points, and relying on a "Hail Mary" shot landing against a fresh Korobov. Miraculously, he got away with it (again!) and did indeed land the 'get out of jail' shot bang on cue. But one of these days it wont happen for him.......what then? LLL will LLlose!

Congrats to all the Irishmen Lee is a fine champion. I know alot of people concerned about his health, but I think he finally finding himself as a fighter. Like Maravilla before him, he probably found his groove late, retiring now is the worst thing he can do. Korobov was winning b4 the ko, as expected, but I don't think he was dominating either, and that impressed me, he hurt Korobov earlier too. A Lee-Macklin fight would be great, then on to Cotto, Taylor, or perhaps maybe even, Canelo! :ko
The only one concerned with his health is Len, and hes full of it. Andy has to fight BJ Suanders first, hopfully it will be in Ireland but This content is protected will do his upmost for it to happen in England. Saying that Lee is entitled to an easy first defence so i dont think he will sweat it travelling to britain.:deal
:yep Taylor has his trial til June, would be nice if a uni could be done before the date of the trial. England, Ireland, anywhere. But yea, Lee deserves a stay busy, confidence boosting fight. Saunders might have to wait alil.
