very impressed with tommy mccarthy...5 hard rounds where he punched fast and plenty..and I thought he'd be blowing after a few rounds but he was fresh as a daisy at the end...and the end was a spectacular one punch ko...and this opponent was better stock than I expected..not just there for a sparring session.

collins jr despite his stoppage win very green...doesnt use a jab but thats his style...poor defence apart from good head movement, and he does cut the ring off well stepping across his opponent rather than turning to face them...but hes a wild hooking banger with a natural dig....footwork bad, square on..a lot..few times crossing his feet so his lead foot was behind..but he got away with that against this calibre of opponent...he'll improve with fights obviously but I dont see say a british title level champion in the making.

sutcliffe had his man down with a cracking shot with his second punch in as many seconds into round one...opponent was just a shell from there on.

cant make my mind up about sean turner...it was a weird end to the fight from my vantage point as his opponent seemed to look like he was going to complain to the ref when turner had him on the rope and he dropped both hands and stood square...turner had a free target and let him have it.

other fights were surprisingly competitive and the away men were better than I expected.

Steven Donnelly returns to winning ways in the WSB, beating Brian Ceballo of the USA knockouts, who recently had a convincing victory over Freddie Evans the Olympic silver medalist not too long back. Solid victory for Donnelly.

Didnt see enough on the video of Sutcliffe jnr but he can hit a bit alright,
Mc Carthy finish was a beaut and Turner nearly took the lads testes off with a low let hook and then mugged him as he tried to complain to the ref,(defend yourself at all times i suppose)
Hope they got a crowd and covered costs,
Any news last night of further shows in the red cow?

Great lil show pays off to spend extra few hundred for decent opponents 👍 Tommy was class act made it look easy against tough guy , Sucliffe showed again that huge punching power and spitefulness unreal power! Shorty boxed very well his first fight in over a year he will make great pro and Stevie Jnr was nice and relaxed strong the sparring with Tommy McCarthy is bringing him on leaps and bounds 👍 Turner didn't get chance to show much but looked very sharp and strong would have liking to see him get few rounds then quick stoppage.
