    Corbett knocked out Sullivan in the 21st round. He was called "The Father of Modern Boxing" because of his technique. That was Sullivan's only loss. Sullivan was the last bare knuckle and first gloved Champ.

    eddie hearn has given frampton 2 wks to decide if he wants to fite quigg... hearn is pushing for a ppv event on sky... so that could be a big problem on the fite occurring apparently as mcguigan wants it on itv :good

    Yep, I think he was using that quote & the whole "stride into a bar and trumpets a challenge to all" schtick in a refrain of or tribute to John L. :good
