Jason Quigley on tonight, may or may not be televised on FS1 in a swing bout.

It won't be much of a contest. His opponent is 2-2 (1) Tolutomi Agunbiade, whom they found on a mere 24 hours' notice. (as of 5pm EST yesterday Quigley had no opponent named)

How does that leave the rankings?

 

hes number 1 in the rankings... i think he has 2 more fights:good

 

He's number 3 in the rankings. 5 points behind the number 2. So he need's two win his last two fights and for the lad Morrocan fighter currently in second to slip up in order to qualify for the olympics.
Conlan is in a similar situation whilst Barnes is top but can't afford any slip ups as only one fighter qualifies for the Olympics at light-fly.

Great performance from Donnelly last night, should never have been a split decision.

Yep, you get 4points for SD and 5 for a UD. It means he most likely has to win his remaining fights by UD to any chance at all. Conlan stands a much better chance of qualify despite losing twice(one of them a robbery) as opposed to Donnelly only losing once.

 

Fingers crossed both and Paddy Barnes make it through WSB. Expect they'll all reach Rio anyway but the earlier they do it the better.

 

If anybody has any spare time they should check out the Cuban WSB team. Full of serious talent. The light-heavy La Cruz, who beat Ward fairly easily at the last worlds, has been the stand out for me.
