Lets hope this does come to pass. But it is very early days yet. No venue, no date....the thing that makes me have faith that this may well happen is that the timing is right - it suits both men.
LSc is better for Carl right now than Rigo or Wake and LSC isnt ready for Lomachenko or Walters.

John Joe Nevin has gone all quiet too, when he should be active.....

Is Ricky Hatton looking to promote shows in Dublin??? This could fill the void left by MGM.:think

Saw that, but think it's been taken down from the Irish-Boxing website. :huh

He has the three Uptons (whether they're good enough or not they could still go on undercards) and didn't he sign an Irish lad after this years seniors?

Could be a good move for him and Irish boxing. He could sign up a few Irish lads too. It could actually work.

I'm not sure there should be a 'void' left by MGM, Marty. Why ban MGM? All they were doing was hosting a perfectly legal boxing event.

It cant be right that ordinary decent boxers lose out 'cos of the failure by the 'authorities' to protect us all from crime. Throwing the baby out with the bathwater cant be the answer, surely? There has to be something wrong somewhere with that approach IMO.
