If rumours are to be believed Eddie o sullivan was in the running.
A world class proven manager that is driven and has bags of experience.
More importantly he woyld come without a history with the people he would work with.
A new perspective on old issues.
Dunne is a great guy and I really hope he does well but he is not proven in this type role especially at this level.but time will tell.

Northern Irish amateur boxing standout Paddy Barnes heads into his third pro fight with big expectations at the Waterfront Hall in Belfast on June 17th, live on BoxNation.
It is rare for a two-fight novice to go into this stage of his career and face a former European Champion and former World Title contender, and for the WBO European Flyweight Title no less, but that’s exactly what Barnes is doing.
The talented Flyweight, nicknamed ‘The Leprechaun’, spoke to eir Sport about the prospect of fighting his next opponent Silvio Olteanu. “It’s a serious fight, a guy who's been European Champion, he’s fought for World Titles. It’s a serious step up in class and one I’m looking forward to.”
Barnes knows he may have to go the full 10 rounds against Olteanu and make the Flyweight weight limit for the belt. The Northern Irishman showed no worries in the present moment only saying: “It depends where I am in camp.” Given how quickly he’s taken this step up in class he looks extremely confident in his abilities.
The double-Olympic bronze medallist has already started camp in Belfast and is soon to migrate to Spain to continue his preparations: “I’m going to Spain tomorrow, I’ve already been training in Belfast but I’m looking forward to some serious training.”
