Another thing worrying about conlon is his weight. Have you seen him at weigh ins? Cheek bones sticking out through his skin like blades. I've seen death camp survivors that looked healthier. Can't be good cutting weight like that. Another one is lee selby. It's a real problem in boxing right now. We need tighter monitoring of weight cutting by boxers IMO.
Yeah those same cheek bones are a blessing and a curse,They make the girls swoon but are the main reason Conlon puffs up so easy, after 2-3 rounds of any fight Jamie is swollen badly and red,im sure it has to impair his vision aswell as everything else, Game as hell but limited is how id describe Jamie, i confess i dont know anything about his opponent but from what iv read it will take a career best performance and the help of a very vocal and partisan crowd to help him claim this title,

I seen Mannion and McCallum at a boxing do in Birmingham a few year ago, Big Joe Egan organised it. Never seen their fight, was it bad ??
Well mccallum was an all time great and mannion with all due respect, was a basic plodder.....so yes it was target practice for Mike. Hard to watch.
it was mccullum first world title... so when they fought he wasn't an all time great then....I watched the fight on you tube a few years back... id say it was a shut out but mannion to his credit never looked in serious trouble
