A very interesting proposal. However, unfortunately, I don't think Andy would be up for it. Also, unfortunately, I don't think Reilly can be saved.
Perhaps if Reilly had been in Lee's club (or even county) then the link would be tangible.

I agree i dont think Andy and Michael would be the same type of person,
Andy strikes me as a consummate professional, id imagine hed expect those in his charge to be as determined and professional as he is,Dont think thats O Reilly,

Yes, exactly. Now if there was some strong link between the two (club etc.) then perhaps Lee would give it a shot, but I don't see Lee finding the idea any way appealing.

If Andy is at a loose end I have a job for him.....training Chris Eubank! Didn't they both work with booth? Might work???? They could even spar! What say ye?

You are a wealth of ideas  Not a bad one though!
However, if CEJ moves in that direction then you'd imagine it would just be back to Booth.
It's gonna be very interesting for sure to see what Andy does next.

Snowed in here..."snowmageddon" has arrived with a vengeance. This one is going to be seriously bad, all joking aside, so stay safe guys. I'm going stir crazy with cabin fever...so I'm likely to come up with anything over the next few days. Watch this space...:)

Read today yhat it won't be an open draw.
The boxers will be ranked 1-4 and they will then pick an opponent from the 5-8 crew.
JJ McDonagh will be #1 is say.

I fancy Roy Sheehan. Apparently has hands of stone.

Draw has favoured Blaney to win it out.
Sheehan and Mc Donagh should meet in the semi finals after tough first fights for each.
Blaneys path to the final on paper looks less physically demanding thats a big thing in competitions like these

I'm always complaining about inactivity......I know...but I don't like these tournaments much at all. They're today's version of what used to happen in the USA 100 years ago ..filling the ring with blindfolded black boys slugging it out until only one was left standing for the amusement of the crowd. They're just slugfests favouring just toughness. Can't warm to it myself, but good luck to the lads anyway.
