Money's good,coverage and exposure is good, ideal for pros to make a name for themselves
It does appeal to a certain type of supporter definetly and maybe not the purests but I'll be watching anyway and hope the guys get more work out of it.ein or lose

it's fairly balls to the wall alright.
the one issue I have with it is I don't think they should count these on the professional record.
A pro fight for me is minimum 4 rounds.

Great win though,delighted for him and i had him backed,
Very few seemed to be in attendance which was disappointing but i suppose as long as the tickets were sold the promoter will be happy,
I watched the Irish title fight after and although O Brien has some skills Byrne was brutal,looked like a white collar fighter,tough fit guy but zero boxing fundamentals,

 

If sheahan is handled correctly ... He can headline a few more shows on TG4... Could become a minor celebrity .... Or maybe its wishful thinking

 

It was great I see boxing back in tv at longlast.

 

Well done bk99 and puca. These things are always a bit of a lottery and the favourite rarely wins ....was it luck or judgement lads...be honest now!!!

I have to say I'm inclined to say Quigg has a point. Carl couldn't dent him, and bear in mind he was hitting a man with a broken jaw. When Quigg surged forward in rounds 8-9-10-11 his punches seemed to bother Carl at times but Carl never stopped his Advance. He couldn't seem to hurt Quigg.

Of course Quigg was fresh having done nothing for 6-7 rounds, so maybe that was a factor. I definitely feel Carl did deserve the win without a doubt. Just saying about punch power.

Since when does breaking a mans jaw not count as putting a dent in him?

Carl was also dead at the weight at super bantam. His gas tank in the Santa Cruz fights was night and day compared to the end of the Quigg fight despite having a higher output in the Leo fights.
