Frampton trying to create "bad blood" with Warrington calling him arrogant. That's not the impression I've had watching Warringtons interviews.
Conrad Cummings fighting Brian Rose on frampton undercard. Decent match up, very winnable for Cummings
I thought it was a good fight but the main reason I said that was that I thought Luke may want to try and get the belt back.
Wow.... Professional boxer in "whipping up interest in his fight" shocker! What's the world coming to? ! Seriously though Josh is a nice likeable guy .... He did adopt a thoroughly dislikable persona to whip up in his fight with Selby though. I didn't think it suited him at all. Hope there's not too much if this sorta nonsense attached to the frampton fight.... Also be great if some of the sub-surface lurking sulkers could manage to get over their sulks and get back on here posting about it. Grow up lads FFS!
Point i was making was its unusual for Frampton to be trash talking. Sooo maybe due to the other promotion on the same night hes feeling obligated to stir it up, even though this fight shouldnt need it.
Makes sense. Pity that the heavyweights take all the attention. I know which I'll be watching. I think this is the better fight, but they will struggle for attention against the power of the Sky marketing machine and the antics of two big talkers in Chisora and Whyte.
http://www.irish-boxing.com/celtic-...ents-confirmed/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss A promotion in Drimnagh this Saturday if anyone is interested.
In agreement with you on that, although Frampton and Warrington sell big in there regions. There will be big PPV sales alone in the north of Ireland.
Yes it's not like him. He's actually a very bad self promotion guy. He's lucky he has had the captive audience in " norn iron " all along. the matchroom card the same night has obviously pressureised him to do it. At least his comments are in good taste.. .not ott stuff like weve seen lately... ..
Anybody heading along to the shows in drimnagh or mayo, I would be very interested in an impartial view of boxers, opponents and the events in question, it has become a bit like the promoters or their buddies are doing all the coverage and looking at things through rose tinted glasses, which i acknowledge is their job and fully appreciate why they do it,but every now and again you would like somebody to call a spade a spade and say fair play to the lad for giving it a go but he is a bit s@it..well maybe not that blunt but you know what mean, Just to clarify i am not against either event and the mayo show looks a very good one and on tv so thats all positive and the inclusion of christy dignam looks a very good move to shake things up a bit in the one this week so fair play to the lads for that,
http://www.irish-boxing.com/tommy-m...ed-but-determined-following-second-pro-debut/ There must be something else Tommy McCarthy can do better than boxing. ....
Interesting Barnes thread in Brit forum....not one poster has a kind word for the “Liprechaun! “ he needs a good win on Xmas card. Wonder who he’ll get? A live one hopefully. Let’s hope paddy’s been doing some sit-ups to tone that tummy.after the dent Rosales put in it! http://www.irish-boxing.com/paddy-barnes-sets-world-champion-target/ Hadn’t seen this when I posted...
