It was going to sell out one way or another. Saying that the people going are much more excited knowing that Andy is boxing. Yeah, I'll have a tie for you. Was chatting to Ray Moylette on Wednesday. Will have that interview up over the weekend on Irish-boxing, probably as audio first then a written piece later.

napa is good...but not that good.. dee kelly from belfast schooled him a few years back...but the thing about hyland is that he has only fought journeymen...he could have done with stiffer opposition coming up 2 a euro title fight:good

Damien Kelly is one of the finest fighters this island ever produced and was a World Class operator. For my money he won every round against Napa.

Buy Paul Hyland is nowhere near the level Damien Kelly was and Ian Napa is improved quite a bit since then. Napa will know a little too much for Hyland and win a decisive decision in my book. Paulie can become European champion, but this chance is coming too soon for him, well too soon in the sense I don't think he'll win it but I do think it'll be a very good learning fight for him and one which will help him towards being European champion in the future.

If he was going to beat Napa he wouldn't have struggled so much with Lukin.

Yep, Napa doesn't have enough power at World level and he is too small aswell. His small frame does help him in some ways but the Maludrottu fight is an example of why he just can't overcome the size difference at a higher level.

Anyone any thoughts on McCloskey tonight. I think a mid fight stoppage could be on the cards, then the European title next.:deal

Big Ears... why the heck is Dunne a +280 (3.80) underdog to Cordoba?

Is the Panamanian that good or is Dunne really that far short of world class?

I know Dunne's got chin issues, but his skillset has always struck me as decent. The odds surprise me some.
